Job Opportunity - Locum MRI Radiographer (Antrim & Occasional Rotation to Causeway)

Location: Antrim (with occasional rotation to Causeway)
Contract Type: Temporary
Start Date: Immediate
Pay Rate: £19.10 per hour
Working Pattern: Flexible between Monday - Sunday (including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays)


Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced MRI Radiographer to join our diagnostic imaging team. This is a locum position requiring flexibility and commitment to delivering high-quality MRI services across multiple sites.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI scans in accordance with departmental protocols and safety standards
  • Operate MRI scanners including GE Optima 450W 1.5T and Siemens Sola systems
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Participate in flexible working sessions, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays

Essential Criteria

  • Degree or Diploma in Radiography
  • Current HCPC Registration
  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in Diagnostic Radiography
  • At least 1 year of MRI experience
  • Experience working with GE Optima 450W 1.5T and Siemens Sola scanners
  • Knowledge of MRI safety and the role of Radiographer in MRI imaging
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Access NI check required
  • Good general health to meet the physical demands of the role

Desirable

  • MRI PGCert
  • PGCert or equivalent in IV cannulation
