Contracts Administrator - Band 4
Location:
Lurgan Hospital, Estates Department
Directorate:
Finance, Procurement & Estates
Hours:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm)

Temporary until 30/03/2026
Job Summary:
The post holder will provide administrative support to the Contracts Manager and Admin Manager, assisting in the procurement and administration of a portfolio of medical and decontamination contracts. They will also act as Team Leader for Band 3 staff within the Medical Contracts and Decontamination Admin teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain robust filing systems for contract documentation.
- Liaise with contractors regarding service and maintenance contracts.
- Ensure contract details and asset registers are accurately maintained.
- Process invoices using MiCAD/e-Quip and BSTP finance systems.
- Collate and upload review information for audits and compliance.
- Supervise Band 3 admin staff, including appraisals and training.
- Provide cover for other admin posts as required.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word).
- Experience with computer systems/databases.
- Qualifications:
- HNC/HND in an administrative field and 1 year's clerical/administrative experience (including Band 3 level), OR
- 4 GCSEs (A-C including English & Maths) and 2 years' clerical/administrative experience at Band 3 level, OR
- 3 years' clerical/administrative experience at Band 3 level.
Desirable:
- Experience in contracts administration.
