📚 Job Opportunity: Part-Time Library Assistant - Randalstown📚We are currently recruiting for a temporary part-time Library Assistant on behalf of our public sector client based in Randalstown. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within a respected public body. Immediate start available.📅 Working Hours Every Tuesday 11.45-8pm💰 Pay Rates:<ul><li>Standard hourly rate: £13.21</li></ul>📝 Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist clients with queries using both print and electronic resources</li><li>Register new clients and explain library services, rules, and regulations</li><li>Deliver services that support the learning, information, leisure, and cultural needs of the local community</li><li>Assist with the routine delivery of the programme of promotional activities to include school class visits, story time, user education events, special initiatives etc.</li></ul>✅ Essential Criteria:<ul><li>Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English Language and Maths (Grade C or equivalent) *Certificates will be required </li><li>At least 1 year's experience providing face-to-face service to the public</li><li>Experience working with young children and elderly people</li><li>Proficient in using ICT to access, select, and use information</li></ul> The Recruitment Co is a corporate member for the Recruitment and Employers Confederation operating as an Employment Business for the recruitment of temporary vacancies RecCoLisburn
