Our client, A Large public sector organisation, is looking for a Facilities and Project Manager to join their team. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed.
Duration: ASAP UP TO 51 weeks
Rate of pay: £33.01 per hours
Location: Royal Victoria Hospital
Hours: 15 hours ( part time 2 days per week )
Main Duties Include:
- Develop a plan for how facilities and services will be managed in the future within the State Pathologist's Department by March 2026 to facilitate the development of a new Service level Agreement with the Belfast Trust .
- Provide input to engagement with the Belfast Trust for a new Service Level Agreement for facilities management services by April 2026.
- To lead on the delivery of key works projects including; development of business cases, assisting in the development of project specifications, and liaison with the Belfast Trust and contractors.
- To develop a works programme and associated budgets for the next five years including physical infrastructure projects and purchase of essential equipment. Manage the day-to-day facilities requirements of the State Pathologist's Department and engage with the Belfast Trust to ensure this is carried out in line with the SLA.
- Support the implementation of an action plan flowing from a review of the State Pathologist's Department services.
- Support and mentor the laboratory manager in service delivery, including carrying out laboratory duties as required.
- Support the State Pathologist in the event of a mass fatality incident.
Applicants must have the following qualifications and experience; ·
- HCHP registered Biomedical Scientist.
- MSc in Biomedical Science or Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Science.
- A minimum of five years' experience gained within the last ten years as a Service Manager within a complex organisation.
- At least two years' experience gained within the last five years in facilities management in a complex organisation with detailed knowledge of building management systems.
- The ability to manage complex projects within a medical environment, including liaising with contractors and different teams within the Belfast Trust.
