We are currently recruiting for an Admin Officer for our client based in Derry/Londonderry (Lisahally). The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed.

Start date: 26th Nov

Rate of pay: £13.75

Duration: uo tp 51 weeks

Hours of work: Full time 37 Hours per week

The contracted hours are 8am - 8pm Monday - Friday and every 4th Saturday on a rota basis. However, at present staff are working various shift patterns between 9.00 - 5.00 Monday to Friday.

No holidays can be accommodated in the first 12 weeks of employment due to the training for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Universal Credit AO Admin role for DWP Dispute Resolution Services
  • Accessing Universal credit "build" to identify correct To Do's relating to Mandatory Reconsiderations (Appeals) received from customers.
  • Understand which decision type relates to which site and team.
  • All To Dos should be moved in a chronological order to ensure work is cleared in accordance with guidance
  • Clear appropriate case scan - this is done to ensure no MRs are missed
  • Liaise with jobcentres/Service centres via designated email in-box
  • Maintain Intake as work comes in throughout the day
  • Check activities via our 26 Service Centres to find any unsupported MRs

Essential Criteria applicants must have:

  • five GCSE/GCE passes (at A, B or C) with Maths and English.

  • Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to use own initiative.
