<h3>Pharmacy Technician - Healthcare in Prison</h3>Location: HMP Maghaberry Pay Rate: £13.57 per hour Hours: Full-time (37.5 hrs) 9-5 Contract: 3 months initially Directorate: Adult ServicesAbout the Role We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join the Healthcare in Prison team at HMP Maghaberry. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-quality pharmacy service within a unique and challenging environment.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Dispense prescriptions and manage stock using the pharmacy computer system.</li><li>Support medicines management, including issuing self-administration medication and assisting with controlled drugs.</li><li>Maintain accurate records on EMIS and ensure compliance with medicines legislation.</li><li>Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimise pharmaceutical care.</li></ul>Essential Criteria<ul><li>Minimum 2 years' experience as a Student Pharmacy Technician (14 hrs/week or more).</li><li>BTEC and NVQ3 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent).</li><li>Full UK driving licence and access to a car (reasonable adjustments for disability apply).</li></ul>Desirable<ul><li>Previous experience in a secure environment.</li></ul>
