We are currently recruiting for an EO2 based in Stormont, Castle Buidlings. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed.
Start date: ASAP
Rate of pay: £15.83
Duration: Up to 6 months
Hours of work: Full time 37 Hours per week
No holidays can be accommodated in the first 6 weeks of employment due to the training for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
General support of the TEO Good Relations Outcomes Branch. The role will vary as per business need but will generally include,
- Issuing, collating and preparing branch finance and governance returns
- Support team in Ministerial casework e.g. requesting & collating inputs.
- Relationship building and collaboration with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and collaborators, to include shared mailbox management; note taking & record management
- Support in development of new data and software processes and documentation
- Assist with the development, implementation, tracking of marketing and communications.
- Line Management of Administrative staff within the Business Support Unit
- Provide assistance within the branch to support ongoing works of Maps and Charting Officer
Essential Criteria applicants must have:
- Experience of Line Management and performance related processes.
- Experience of drafting, preparation and collation of responses to invitations, and correspondence supporting Ministerial casework, including the use of content manager software.
- As the postholder will be supporting a work area working with data: data and research awareness and experience.
- Experience of engaging (oral and written) with a wide range of organisations - community / voluntary and statutory sectors.
- Experience of assisting in the management and delivery of a marketing and communications strategy to raise awareness.
- Good writing and copy editing skills across various mediums.
- Access to a form of transport to enable postholder meet requirements of post in attending events and visits with stakeholders.
- five GCSE/GCE passes (at A, B or C) with Maths and English plus 2 A levels or above (Proof of certs required)
- Proven ability to use own initiative.
