📌 Job Opportunity: Band 3 Administrative &amp; Clerical Officer (Appointments Office - Ulster Hospital) Location: Ulster Hospital Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week), Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm Contract: Temporary ongoing Until end of March 2026 (initially)Rate of pay : £12.31 oer hour We are currently recruiting three Band 3 Administrative &amp; Clerical Officers to join the Appointments Office team at the Ulster Hospital. These roles are vital in supporting the delivery of patient-focused services and ensuring efficient clinic management.<h3>📝 Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Input and manage patient data using systems such as Epic, PAS, and Patient Centre</li><li>Schedule appointments in line with clinical priorities and IEAP targets</li><li>Provide reception cover and respond to patient queries with empathy and clarity</li><li>Support audits and data accuracy initiatives</li><li>Assist with training and induction of new staff</li><li>General office duties including scanning, filing, diary management, and minute-taking</li></ul><h3>✅ Essential Criteria:</h3>Applicants must meet one of the following:<ul><li>4 GCSEs (Grades A-C) including English + 1 year's admin/clerical experience</li><li>NVQ Level 2 in Administration + 1 year's admin/clerical experience</li><li>2 years' admin/clerical experience</li></ul>Plus:<ul><li>1 year's word processing experience</li><li>Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook</li></ul><h3>💡 Desirable:</h3><ul><li>Experience using computerised databases</li></ul> Please submit your CV, with a cover letter clearly outlining how you meet the criteria.
