Job Summary / Main Purpose
To provide typing and administrative support to Lifeline.
Main Duties / Responsibilities
For each of the following, the postholder will;
Information Technology
- Make full use of the IT systems available to produce work of a consistently high standard.
- Be proficient with the use of Excel databases and Word packages.
- Perform data entry using the Lifeline CIMS database and PARIS/NIECR
Information systems.
- Record referrals on the Lifeline CIMS database and PARIS/NIECR
Information systems.
- Perform regular data entry checks and complete all required information on IT systems i.e. updating client's information etc.
Customer Service
- Receive telephone calls, deal with enquiries and coordinate information in an efficient, courteous and friendly manner.
- Ensure quality standards are adhered to in all aspects of employment.
- Receive and make calls to Lifeline clients to discuss counselling appointments.#
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- 4 GCSE's including English Language (Grades A-C /9-4) or equivalent AND one years' administrative experience.
OR
NVQ Level II in Administration AND one years' administrative experience.
OR
Have two years' administrative experience. OCR Stage II Text Processing (Part 1) AND OCR Stage II Typing / Word Processing (Part 2) or equivalent qualification.
OR
Have evidence of one years' typing/word processing experience and can demonstrate a capable level of ability.
Experience of working within mental health services and communicating with clients who are experiencing mental health difficulties
Knowledge/ Skills /Abilities
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
