This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the efficient operation of our Metering Services unit.</p><hr /><h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3><ul><li>Coordinate and schedule customer appointments for meter changes, ensuring exceptional customer service at all times.</li><li>Communicate professionally and effectively with customers, including managing challenging interactions with empathy and professionalism.</li><li>Respond to customer enquiries and facilitate issue resolution in collaboration with NIE Networks, suppliers, and other stakeholders.</li><li>Process charges to electricity suppliers for Revenue Services activities.</li><li>Prepare and issue customer bills in accordance with industry standards and procedures.</li><li>Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and field operatives to ensure seamless service delivery.</li><li>Manage confidential and sensitive information in compliance with data protection regulations.</li><li>Maintain accurate daily spreadsheets and compile monthly performance reports.</li><li>Undertake general administrative duties as required to support the team.</li></ul><hr /><h3><strong>Candidate Profile</strong></h3><h4><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></h4><ul><li>Minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent), including Mathematics and English Language.</li><li>Proficient IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.</li><li>Strong organisational and planning abilities; able to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.</li><li>Confident communicator with effective negotiation and influencing skills.</li><li>Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Flexible and adaptable to change within a fast-paced business environment.</li><li>Full, current driving licence.</li></ul><h4><strong>Desirable Criteria</strong></h4><ul><li>Additional relevant qualifications.</li><li>Awareness or understanding of the electricity market in Northern Ireland.</li></ul><p> </p><p>RecCoLisburn</p>
