JOB SUMMARY
This is an exciting opportunity to work within the newly formed Regional Co-ordination Centre (RCC) for Northern Ireland.
The RCC will provide operational and strategic oversight of health and care flows across the Northern Ireland Trusts and will operate 7 days per week, 364 days per year (excluding Christmas Day), 0800 - 1800 Monday to Friday, 0800 - 1300 weekends and public holidays with the resource / capability to stand up 0800 - 2000 operations in the event of significant service pressures or an enduring major incident.
The postholder will work on a rotational basis providing 7-day cover. He / She will be responsible for co-ordinating the information flows from Trusts or information systems to inform twice daily regional meetings and for capturing discussions at meetings / informing reports.
This is a dynamic, key role, providing vital support to the Regional Coordination Centre.
The post-holder will be required to establish and maintain effective networks with all who contribute to the RCC.
KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- To provide effective and efficient administrative and secretarial services to the functions of the RCC.
- To assist in the establishment and maintenance of systems, processes and procedures for the effective and efficient operation of the RCC.
- Servicing daily meetings, capturing information and reproducing to inform the daily meetings.
- Capturing discussions and actions from daily meetings
- Working closely with Co-Directors to ensure daily reports are available to inform the function of the RCC, reporting to Trusts, SPPG and DoH as required
- To process and record communications from Trusts, SPPG or DoH.
- To assist in the organisation of the activities of the RCC, participating in relevant Team weekly meetings, workshops/conferences as necessary
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
A University Degree or a recognised professional qualification (NQF Level 6 or above) AND at least 2 years' experience working within the Health and Social Care system in an administrative role at Band 4 or equivalent, to include experience of diary management, reproducing data and updating systems, the efficient servicing of high-level meetings (including minute taking) and working with a range of professional groups

At least 4 years' experience within the Health and Social Care system in an administrative role at Band 4 or equivalent, to include experience of diary management, reproducing data and updating systems, the efficient servicing of high-level meetings (including minute taking) and working with a range of professional groups
