Temporary Shared Services Support Officer

📍 Location: Armagh
🕒 Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
💷 Rate of Pay: £12.31 per hour
📅 Contract Type: Temporary

We are currently seeking a Temporary Shared Services Support Officer to join our Public Sector Client's team in the Armagh area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and a keen eye for detail, who thrives working independently and as part of a team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers and clients, escalating queries appropriately.
  • Provide high-quality administrative support to the service area, ensuring smooth operation of systems and procedures.
  • Accurately input, process, monitor, and validate data in a timely manner.
  • Assist in analysing and monitoring statistics and information.
  • Collate data and support the preparation of reports, documents, and proposals for senior staff.
  • Contribute to the development of protocols and procedures.
  • Support the implementation of systems within the service area.
  • Maintain and manage stationery stock levels.
  • Deliver a consistently high standard of service to staff, customers, the public, and suppliers.

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualifications:

    • 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C) including English Language and Maths
      OR
    • 18 months' relevant experience in a clerical/administrative role
  • Skills & Experience:

    • Proven experience in administration, including Excel, data entry, analysis, and reporting
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
