<h3>Main Duties/Responsibilities</h3> <ul><li>Assist the line manager to implement policies, procedures and systems to:</li></ul> <ul><li>Establish and accurately maintain records, filing systems and computer records</li><li>Obtain and provide information as required in various formats</li><li>Maintain security and confidentiality in the handling of information.</li><li>Ensure all correspondence, letters, emails and telephone calls are dealt with promptly and appropriately</li></ul> <ul><li>Implement necessary procedures to ensure that excellent customer service is provided for both internal and external customers.</li></ul> <ul><li>Plan and support meetings effectively and efficiently.</li></ul> <ul><li>Research, analyse and report information as required.</li></ul> <ul><li>Provide support, assistance, information and coaching to colleagues as required.</li></ul> <ul><li>Actively support the health and safety arrangements and procedures to avoid or minimise the risks to health and safety of all those associated with the role.</li></ul> <ul><li>Support the Equal Opportunity policy and procedures and be sensitive to other people's abilities, backgrounds, values, customs and beliefs.</li></ul> <ul><li>Keep up to date with competencies required by the role, undertake learning &amp; development activities identified and keep abreast of knowledge relevant to CITB NI's activities.</li></ul> Essential criteria: Either<ul><li>At least 5 GCSEs Grade C or above (including English Language) or equivalent AND at least 1 years relevant* work experience gained within the last 3 years</li></ul> Or<ul><li>At least 2 years relevant* work experience gained within the last 5 years</li></ul> *Relevant is considered to include customer service (internal and/or external customers) and general administrative duties to include call handling and preparation of documents. Plus <ul><li>Capable of using a range of computer systems including Microsoft word (including mailmerge and general communication), excel (including workbooks, charts, formula) and outlook</li></ul> <ul><li>Effective communicator with ability to forge effective working relationships.</li></ul> <ul><li>Effective in managing time and prioritising workload</li></ul> <h4>Personal Commitments:</h4> <ul><li>Have Access to a mode of transport in order to meet the requirements of the post.</li></ul>

Administrative Assistant

We are currently recruiting for Tour Guides based at Portrush Coastal Zone. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed.Start date: 2nd June, 2025Location: PortrushDuration: 21st September 2025Hours of work: 5 Days over 7; 9am-5pmMain Duties:- To man the Exhibition Centre at Portrush Coastal Zone (PCZ) - Open and close the building daily. - Work 5 days over 7 9am-5pm. - Feeding of live creatures and carry out water change as instructed. - Comply and sign PCZ Risk Assessment. - Relay information to visitors on sea life in tanks and assist with any groups visiting the centre. - Produce weekly time sheets to Manager by Friday of each week. - Always ensure security of building. - Any further instructions from Manager.
