The Recruitment Co. is recruiting for a Production Operator with Forklift licence. RTITB licence essential. Our client is a global manufacturing leader in their industry and is offering great progression opportunities to grow with the company based in Swansea.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday DAYS (8.30am- 5pm or 9am to 5.30 pm)
Salary: &pound;26,208 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Summary: To blend, drum, package, and dispatch products to specification in a safe, efficient and timely manner to meet the demands of our customers. Working as part of the Production team to ensure that all customer orders are fulfilled, and stock levels are maintained to the high standards expected by the company.
Main Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Manufacture works orders set by the Senior Production Operator and ensure allocated daily tasks are actioned.</li>
<li>Setup the production equipment and supplies before executing the job orders.</li>
<li>Support final quality checks on all orders before dispatch. Quality is every employee's responsibility.</li>
<li>Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing. Ensure that equipment is maintained in good and safe working condition. Inspect equipment to identify any malfunctions, and where required repairs or replacements.</li>
<li>Perform regular equipment maintenance to ensure production capacity and quality.</li>
<li>Work under the guidance of the Senior Operator to perform and complete the assigned duties in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Preparation of Pure Water.</li>
<li>Manufacture, Blend Production Stock.</li>
<li>Blend, Bottle, Pack, Label and prepare products for dispatch to the Customer.</li>
<li>Heat Shrink Wrap products as required.</li>
<li>Receive goods inwards, including unloading of tankers, and place stock according to instructions.</li>
<li>Always Maintain a safe and clean working environment.</li>
<li>Update the systems to ensure they accurately reflect job status, and inventory levels and liaise with the order processing team as required.</li>
<li>Process Waste/Recycling on a timely basis.</li>
<li>Assist with Stock Checks and inventory management</li>
<li>Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.</li>
<li>Always adhere to mandatory PPE requirements.</li>
<li>Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.</li>
<li>Contribute to waste management programmes.</li>
<li>Identify and report unsafe operations to the Senior Operator immediately.</li>
</ul>
In addition to the above tasks, you may be required to carry out other duties on an ad hoc basis which cover several different areas of the business, as may be agreed from time to time.
Essential Experience:
<ul dir="ltr">
<li>Forklift experience. RTITB licence essential.</li>
<li>Experience in a similar position essential</li>
