Ideal Work Experience for a Call Handler CV

After your personal statement, it’s worth talking about your work experience and what jobs you’ve had that are similar to the one you are applying for. Omit any irrelevant experience.

Which Jobs to Include 

It is beneficial to include jobs in customer service, healthcare or call centres, all of which will provide skills and experience that are relevant to a Call Handler. 

When choosing which jobs to write about, mention up to six relevant jobs and list the skills you gained using bullet points.

Having the skills and qualifications that the job has asked for is important to make your CV stand out. Make sure the skills you mention are relevant and leave them out if they’re not.

Important Skills for a Call Handler

To be a successful Call Handler you will need some skills to show your proficiency for the job. For example, a Call Hander will need to have good communication skills, patience and empathy amongst other things. 

Some of the skills you need will be learned from previous jobs and others you might have from volunteer work or hobbies. Only mention the skills asked for in the job application.
