Sous Chef - AA Rosette awarded Pub - near Lewes - £26k - Live-in


Role Overview:

A popular country pub/restaurant in Lewes area that holds and AA recognition and is offering an excellent menu of fresh produce that has been locally sourced. Currently recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef to help run a busy kitchen alongside the Head Chef. As a Sous Chef you will work on 4.5 out of 7 days per week, mainly on straight shifts. 

There is a live-in accommodation available if needed. 


Main Duties and Responsibilities as a Sous Chef:

  • To help with creating new recipes and assist with writing menus
  • Producing  and presenting the dishes to meet the required standard
  • Overall responsibility of the kitchen operation when the Head Chef is not on duty

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate the team
  • Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to take operation to the next level
