An independent Hotel in Steyning is currently recruiting for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team. The Hotel attracts both leisure and corporate guests, and caters for meetings, events, weddings - offering a great selection of dishes using fresh local and seasonal produce, delivered to a high standard. The successful candidate will be assisting in running the award winning carvery restaurant and managing other F&B services when required. There is a live-in accommodation available if needed.

Assistant Restaurant Manager Responsibilities (Steyning): 

  • Manage the day today running of the restaurant
  • A real hands on approach to lead the FOH team
  • Train new members of staff and handle customer queries
  • Maintain high standards of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety

Assistant Restaurant Manager Requirements (Steyning): 

  • Managerial experience as a Supervisor/Assistant Manager
  • Good F&B knowledge and financially literate
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Ability to make good judgments and make quick decisions

  • Annual salary of £23,000 + gratuities
