Assistant Restaurant Manager - 4* Hotel near Uckfield - £23,000 p/a


The role: 
An Assistant Restaurant Manager is required for this prestigious hotel in East Sussex. You will ensure the Restaurant is run efficiently and that a high level of service is provided to guests at all times. You will report directly into the Restaurant Manager and will be deputising in his absence. Working 48 hour week, 5/7 days to include evenings and weekends.

The hotel is of a very high calibre, so previous four or five star hotel experience is essential.  Please also note that your own transport is also essential in order to travel to the hotel.

  
Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with developing the menus
  • Ordering stock including wines
  • Run shifts, serve guests and be customer focused at all times
  • Lead and train staff to deliver the correct standards
  • Deal with customer queries and complaints


What you need to get the job:

  • Previous managerial experience in a similar role in four or five star hotels
  • Excellent knowledge of food to an award winning level
  • Previous experience managing teams of up to 20 staff
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • A dedicated and passionate team player
