Chef - Daytime hours - £20,000 per annum

Chef is required for a retail unit outside Brighton that offers a variety of fresh food in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. The successful candidate will work day time hours supporting Head Chef. On straight shifts, 40 hours per week with NO EVENINGS and with alternate weekends off! This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a work/life balance.


Chef responsibilities (work/life balance- Brighton):
  • Prepare, cook and serve meals to the required standard
  • Ensuring all Health & Safety standards are met
  • Cash handling, stock control and ordering
  • Health & Safety/Food hygiene
  • Assisting with new menu ideas

Chef requirements (work/life balance- Brighton):
  • Experience as Sous or Head Chef
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • NVQ or City & Guilds Chef Qualifications are beneficial
  • A successful candidate will need to drive due to rural location
