Permanent Relief Chef - Education Sites - Brighton and Hove area

Exciting opportunity for an individuals who are looking for a work/life balance job role. Education units based in Hove and Brighton would like to welcome into their professional brigade a Relief Chef who will be working between schools in Brighton and Hove. You will be working on Monday to Friday bases, cooking and serving food to a high standards. This is a term-time position working 42 weeks per year.


What do you need to get a job as a Relief Chef in our brigade?
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Ability to work well in a small team
  • NVQ or City & Guilds Chef qualifications are required
  • The Disclosure and Barring Service Checks will be carried out


What will we require from you as a Relief Chef?
  • To be organised in your tasks and prioritise your work
  • Keep on top of your ordering, stock takes and deliveries
  • Prepare and cook meals taking into account specific dietary requirements
  • To comply with Health & Safety at Work and Food Health & Safety legislations


What can you expect working with us as a Relief Chef?
  • Monday to Friday
  • Straight shifts - 8am/2pm
  • Term-time only position working 42 weeks per year
  • An hourly pay of £9,54 + company benefits
