A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join us and work with Blue Arrow one of the UK's Largest specialist staffing companies as a Senior Account Director within our National Accounts team reporting to the Head of National Accounts to grow Blue Arrow's National Accounts share of wallet by playing a major role in the development of strategic customer relationships, by leading the creation and delivery of customer retention programmes, and developing, selling and implementing fit for purpose bespoke solutions to customer opportunities. You will be leading the National Account team initiatives to build and deliver an exceptional customer experience and aim to exceed budgeted margins through promise based leadership and mentoring of the National Accounts team and the Blue Arrow branch network. Ensuring that Blue Arrows values are reflected in every activity and that the National Accounts team continually work towards achieving high road recruitment practices that are aligned to enhancing the lives of everyone that touches Blue Arrow.

Location: National role - UK & Ireland

Salary: 55-68k + bonus + car or car allowance

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate as the Senior Account Director within the National Accounts team
  • Support and deputise for the Head of National Accounts
  • Develop productive strategic relationships with key stakeholders
  • Develop and demonstrate your own understanding of the clients values, its business model and their organisational strategic priorities
  • Identify and articulate plans that take into account both the internal and external challenges that the client faces whilst aiming to meet its objectives. 
  • Build, maintain and develop a National Account Plan for each field of play within the client portfolio using Miller Heiman, and "Mind the Gap" planning, and activity reporting tools
  • Understand customer total recruitment spend and develop and deliver plans to maximise opportunities
  • Support the creation and delivery of customer development and retention programmes across the National Accounts portfolio
  • Develop close working relations with key operations personnel within the Blue Arrow and Impellam community
  • Recruit, manage, train and motivate your team
  • Act as a primary support of the Sales function on behalf of National Accounts at all levels including sales visits, CNA visit, customer reference visits, tender/RFP response and final presentations

 Person Specification:

  • Demonstrable track record in the recruitment industry, with knowledge and experience of running multiple large, complex managed service/National Accounts
  • Proven track record of success in managed services/National accounts, particularly in the area of customer management, people management and financial management
  • Able to work nationally
  • Ability to liaise comfortably at board level and to influence people and to take the lead to drive change proactively and positively across a business
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Open and honest management style, proven track record in managing a team
