Technical Sales Engineer - £45k - £55k + Bonus + car/allowance etc - North or South

An established company who provide ground support solutions are looking to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer based either in the North or South of England. The main purpose of the role is to grow the existing sales though frequent customer engagement, providing technically and commercailly sound solutions, from the company's portfolio, to meet the customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver world class service and provide creative solutions for our customers' toughest challenges and develop a sustainable, long term customer base
  • Develop a strong market entry into the civils construction, infrastructure, buildings and utilities sectors, and identify emerging opportunities
  • Based on Global and regional strategies, develop and implement local sales and operational strategies to achieve optimised business results
  • Develop relations with designers, engineering companies, government bodies and end users
  • Support and drive commercialisation of new products
  • Use your strong relationship skills, aptitude for technical knowledge, and your drive to do your best to build trust in company products and create customer loyalty
Skills and Competencies Required
  • Civil Engineering or Geo-Technical Engineering Degree is essential
  • Extensive experience in the Civil Engineering/Construction/Tunnelling or Rail Industry with a provent track record of delivering results and achieving targets
  • Must love creating innovative solutions and delivering results
  • Confident and charismatic with the ability to develop relations with designers, engineering companies, government bodies and end users
  • Logical, with a good attention to detail and accuracy and a head for numbers
  • Passionate about product/solution development and improving quality
  • Commercially driven with a strategic mind-set and results focused
