You will take pride in providing customers with industry-leading service and applications support, coupled with rigorous in-house final testing of our custom spectrometer products to ensure they meet demanding product performance specification.
You will be competent in understanding circuit diagrams and technical/CAD drawings. Ability to test PCB boards to a component level and an ability to solder. Electro-mechanical assembly and alignment
Main duties within the role will be to conduct final test, product installation, training and servicing work for fluorescence spectrometer products at customer locations. Undertake and repair and servicing of our spectrometer products. Responsible for final stage testing within production area. Involved in the continuing development/improvement of luminescence spectrometers and custom designed analytical instrumentation.
Due to the nature of the you must be prepared to visit customer sites to provide support so travel will be required.
We are ideally looking for candidates with a degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering with a good knowledge of optics, however candidates without formal qualifications will be considered if they can demonstrate relevant work experience. Knowledge of optical spectroscopy and fluorescence spectroscopy in particular would be advantageous
