Blue Arrow Glasgow are currently looking for a creative and forward thinking Sous chef to join our client's successful and fast paced team in Glasgow City Centre

We are looking for an energetic, confident and passionate individual who loves watching there food leave the pass, loves making guests smile and appreciates quality food.

You will report directly to the Head Chef to manage daily kitchen activities, taking lead in their absence, including overseeing staff, aiding with menu preparation, ensuring consistent food quality and freshness

 
Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure all food items are presented, prepared and served to the highest of standard
  • Run kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
  • Ensuring maximum customer satisfaction at all times
  • Implementing high quality training to all junior chefs
  • Check all food in section before service and report of any shortages or poor quality
  • Ensure good rotation of stock
  • You'll ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and compliance with hygiene regulations.
