Head Chef - Hotel - Isle of Wight - up to  £38k + Tips & Bonus  


The role:


Our client is a fabulous hotel situated on the Isle of Wight. Looking to recruit an experienced Head Chef to lead a brigade. The restaurant has 2 AA rosettes and the hotel itself has 3 Red Stars. The hotel hosts weddings, banquets and corporate events so the successful chef needs to be able versatile and enjoy a challenge.


As Head chef you will work 5/7 days, min 40 hours per week, All straight shifts.


Your main responsibilities as Head Chef will include:


  • Management of the kitchen
  • Food Production
  • Compliance and Competence with all Managerial duties
  • Ensuring food safety and health and hygiene
  • Develop and train the junior members of the team


What you need to get the Role:


  • Experience at Head Chef Level, ideally at least 1 Rosette standard
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 1, 2 and 3 or Equivalent 
  • Passionate about food
  • Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to take operation to the next level
  • Longevity - NO JOB HOPPING
