IT Helpdesk/Service Desk Telephony Analysts- Pudsey (£8.75 per hour)

Blue Arrow are currently recruiting experienced IT Service Desk Telephony Analysts to work for our client who is a leading bank in the UK. The IT Service Desk Telephony Support Analysts will be based in Pudsey. This is a temporary position for minimum duration of 12 months and it is due to start on 17 December 2018 for the successful candidates subject to passing vetting.  The right candidate will have experience in 1st Line IT Support or related experience or training. You will need to have a clean criminal record, clear credit check and be able to provide references for the last 5 years. You will work 5 days a week, Monday to Friday between 07:00a.m -7:00pm for 35 hours a week. There may be an occasional Saturday required once in 6 weeks. The rate of pay will be £8.75 per hour and you will enjoy additional benefits such as pay progression, payment for unsociable hours, competitive Overtime rates, Flex pay and bonuses for excellent performance. Training will be given for 9-10 weeks and therefore no holidays can be taken during this period with exception on Bank Holidays. Main objective of the role

To carry out straight forward and standalone clerical/ support duties in accordance with predetermined procedures and service standards under detailed instruction and supervision for offering IT support.

Key duties and Accountabilities

  • Taking IT related calls from customers and staff members and undertaking various trouble

    shooting processes such as password resets


  • Carry out basic operational procedures and instructions so that tasks are completed accurately and on time

  • Work co-operatively within own work group by openly exchanging information and supporting colleagues from around the organisation to achieve business goals

  • Contribute to continuous improvement and ongoing development of own knowledge and skills

  • Organise own work effectively, to enable adherence to deadlines

  • Ensure own work is completed accurately, checking for mistakes and correcting them promptly

  • Support and assist colleagues within the team

  • Comply with oral and written instructions

  • Solve basic problems largely by precedent with referral to detailed instructions primarily involving supervisor assistance
