Business Support Administrators- Halifax, Copley, Pay rate - £9.73

Start date: ASAP until March 2019 (Temporary to Permanent)

Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for Business Support Administrators in Halifax to start work as soon as soon as possible for our client who is a leading bank in the UK. The suitable candidates will have extensive administration experience, high attention to detail, ability to work efficiently within given timelines and work well as a team. You will work Monday to Friday for 35 hours a week on a rotating shift basis of hours between 08:00a.m - 06:00p.m with an occasional Saturday (half day). Successful candidates will need to undergo a criminal record check, credit check and 5 years of referencing.  This is initially a temporary role until March 2019 but with potential of temporary to permanent opportunities. Interviews will be held as soon as possible for all shortlisted candidates. If successful you will undergo training for 5 weeks and therefore no holidays can be taken during this period. We recommend that applicants live locally in Halifax or have own transport due to the challenges of getting to the site.

Oversee the workflow of other colleagues, in order to deliver a quality service to customers in

line with agreed service standards.

  
Key Accountabilities


  • Carry out a range of demanding clerical or technical support duties where answers are readily available but some judgement may be required, ensuring that the work is completed accurately and adheres to all specified Group policies, processes and procedures

  • Demonstrate core client values & behaviours as an active team member

  • As appropriate oversee the workflow of other colleagues, giving appropriate advice, guidance and direction to ensure work is completed in an efficient and timely manner.

  • Respond to a range of demanding enquiries, clarifying customers understanding of the information being given

  • Act as a source of expertise to junior/less experienced colleagues providing coaching and support where necessary, verify and check their work and identify more formal training where appropriate

  • Build relationships typically at peer level in order to clarify facts, exchange information or resolve enquiries & issues escalating as appropriate

  • Identify and suggest improvements to new and existing processes, procedures and systems

  • When required support line management with the implementation of changes in own work area.

  • Work is typically allocated and monitored on a weekly to monthly timeframe
