Registered Manager Role - Autism and behaviour centre

We have a PHENOMINAL opportunity for an experienced registered manager to run a BRAND NEW office and manage a team that you can recruit yourself from scratch.

This is an amazing opportunity to join a family run business........ You would be starting fresh  with clear Ofsted reports so not inheriting anyone's bad habits/results, and have the autonomy to grow the business and the needs of the client.

You will be able to INFLUENCE decisions centrally in a business that has a family feel and isnt a corporate operation.

The standard salary for this role in the current market is £35,000, however our client is looking to offer an increased salary for the right person of £40K PLUS BENEFITS AND BONUS.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

The Role

Your role will be to deliver high quality care to children and young people who may reside within the Specialist Autism & behaviour centres nine bed capacity

Key responsibilities:

  • To be registered with Ofsted and as such, be legally responsible and accountable for the effective and safe running of the service.

  • To deliver high quality care to the children and young people within the service.

  • The Registered Manager is responsible for all care services, strategic planning and the day to day management of the service.

  • To maintain and expand on the well-established principles and practice standards which exist within the organisation whilst proactively contributing to the continuous improvement of childcare.

  • To act as an effective practice leader by monitoring the quality and professionalism of the deputy manager, senior behaviour support workers and behaviour support workers. They must offer guidance and mentorship in those circumstances where practice does not meet required standards and provide positive feedback and support, so that excellent practice may be maintained.

  • To be able to demonstrate values-based leadership and ensure that staff members are at all times upholding key principles of understand, empower and aspire.  They should be able to apply these in practice ensuring that all staff function as a cohesive team. This is essential for the effective implementation of the service's positive behaviour support framework and human factors approaches.

  • To be responsible for ensuring an appropriate staff presence in order to meet the childcare needs of the children and young people within the service
