We are looking for a confident head chef for a rehabilitation centre in Dorking.

Previous experience in similar environments desirable but not necessary.

You will lead a small catering team, cooking around 50 covers each day, using fresh produce.

This is an ongoing opportunity with the chance to become PERMANENT for the right candidate.

DBS clearance required for this role.*

Shifts: Monday - Friday (occasional weekends - enhanced rates)

Hour: 8:00 - 16:00 or 10:00 - 18:00

Pay: £11.50 - £14.00

Locations: Dorking - free parking on site

Duties to include:
  • Maintenance of stock control and rotation
  • Food preparation according to standard recipes and schedules
  • Attention to special dietary needs for staff and patients as requested
  • Consistency and presentation of food in timely manner
  • Assisting management with menu planning, rotas, orders, and deliveries when needed
  • Maintaining high standard of hygiene and cleanliness
