Blue Arrow are excited to be representing an excellent company based in Shepshed, Leicestershire. We are currently looking for 15 full time, permanent Production Operatives. 

Night shifts - 11pm - 7am Sun-Thurs

Day shifts - Rotate each week, one week 7am - 3pm and then the following week 3pm - 11pm. This is Monday - Friday but every 4 weeks when you're on the late shift you will work Sun - Thurs. 

The role of  Operator is key in support of the shift supervisory team on a day to day basis.  The main purpose of the Operator role is to work production equipment/machines to process transactional documentation.  Flexibility is paramount to this role as due to our work profile operators can be utilised in various different areas/activities.

Also key to this position is participation in continuous improvement activities as instructed by the shift management in order to allow for streamlining of existing processes and the creation of new processes within the area.

Key responsibilities:





















Operations

■   Adhere to defined standards and processes in all activities ensuring best practices are followed.
■   Ensure quality and throughput targets are achieved.
■   Support for continuous improvement activity
■   Follow procedures for all tasks and processes
■   Identify process weakness through continuous improvement methodologies.
Client

■   Support the provision of  timely and consistent delivery of communication, issue        resolution, MI reporting and all other services to external and internal clients and account management teams as required
People

■   Adhere to objectives in accordance with business goals
■   Take responsibility for own learning and development
■   Support the shift supervisory team to ensure workloads are balanced within the team and work with other teams.
Finance

■   Support the supervisory team in maximising profitability of all jobs by highlighting opportunities


We are looking for highly motivated, organised people with a clear focus for customer service. You need to have experience of working to tight deadlines and be IT literate and competent in the use of MS Word and Excel. Previous experience of print of mail equipment would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided. 

In return you will work for an excellent company committed to their employees. The salary package is £15,115 + shift allowance. 27.5% for Nights and 15% for days.
