The role:

Working within a busy Technical Support team, you will be required to provide telephone, email and on-line support to existing and potential customers in UK and Germany. You will provide problem diagnosis and aid in recreating working environments for reproducing problems. This is a full-time permanent position, within a fast paced team.

  • Permanent position
  • Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30
  • Fluent German essential

Technical skills required:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Web technologies
  • Good networking skills, including understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, proxy servers, firewalls, DHCP, DNS.
  • Experience of installation, configure and troubleshooting of Microsoft Operating systems.
  • Experience of diagnosing problems with any software / application or hardware.
  • Up to date knowledge of current and emerging IT technologies.

Other skills/experience required:

  • Good organisational and planning skills.
  • Good customer, and communication skills both orally and written (both English & German)
  • Willingness to contribute to and be part of a successful team.
  • Ability to recognise commercial prospects and deal with them appropriately.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and to prioritise workload under pressure.
  • Calm, courteous and polite manner.
