Job Description: Recruitment Consultant - Perms
Location: Sheffield (City Centre) 
Blue Arrow currently have an exciting opportunity to join their new perms division based in Sheffield.  This role will be to support exisiting clients in addition to developing new and exciting business opportunities thougout South Yorkshire.  We have opportunities in 3 divisions:  Commercial, Catering and Industrial. 

Purpose of the Role:
To maximise sales and gross margin through the timely placement of permanent candidates
within our chosen clients, providing service excellence to clients and candidates by embracing Blue Arrow's promise based culture. To ensure that Blue Arrow's values are reflected in every activity and that your actions continually work towards achieving high road recruitment practices that are aligned to enhancing the lives of everyone that touches Blue Arrow.
Key Responsibilities:
h Manage and maintain an accurate client database and a programmed tele-sales campaign, including lead/prospect qualification, appointment making and business generation.
h Proactively promote permanent candidates through planned candidate marketing calls
h Enhance the national and local sales initiatives by ensuring all appropriate leads are recorded for action in line with
the company business development plan
h Prepare and facilitate the ongoing attraction, selection and recruitment of suitable candidates ensuring we have a candidate database that meets client needs.
h Screen, interview and assess candidates in-line with Company standards, ensuring understanding of their job and career requirements.
h Provide an excellent level of service by embracing Blue Arrows promise based culture.
Ensure that all customer relationships are on a journey to achieving high road recruitment practises that are aligned to enhancing the lives of everyone that touches Blue Arrow.
Obtain full job specifications and person specifications from clients maximising each opportunity for placements.
Proactively visit clients to obtain full job specifications and ensure all clients have signed Conditions Of Business (COBs) and that all rates are in line with Blue Arrow expectations.
Accurately match candidates to vacancies to meet client expectations.
Proactively arrange interviews, ensuring full candidate and client briefing and de-briefing.
Undertake a post placement check with both candidate and client.
Systematically organise and attend client service visits.
Regularly review customer satisfaction levels through a diarised service evaluation programme in line with clients expectations.
Support other temp and perm desks, including across different sectors as required.
Key Performance Indicators:
Specific targets to be agreed with your line manager, which include:
Number of placements
Number of candidates registered
Number of interviews arranged
Number of vacancies taken
Client retention
Average placement value
% at full fee
Client base
Direct interviews
Credits as % of gross margin
Candidate marketing calls
Achievement of agreed operational targets/goals
Budget delivery
Minimum expectation: £60,000 perm margin per annum, i.e. £1,200 fees per week
Person Specification:
Demonstrate level 1/2 Blue Arrow competencies
Previous experience in recruitment or a similar sales/service environment
Friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing individual
Persuasive with excellent communication skills and the ability to sell concepts and ideas by influencing others

Self-confident and able to work within agreed standards and procedures.
