The role:

We are looking for a talented and ambitious Second Chef to join a friendly, hardworking team in a forward thinking working environment in Boston.

The location is set in a 150 acre haven, in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside. With its stunning 18 hole golf course, well-presented club house and 24 bedroom hotel, it is a premier venue for weddings, conferences and events.

Due to significant recent investment, and the continued growth of the business, we currently have a vacancy for a talented and ambitious Second Chef.

Key information:
  • Immediate start
  • Permanent position
  • Rota shifts
  • Some weekends and evenings
  • 5 out of 7 days

Key responsibilities include:
  • Encouraging new ideas and self motivation
  • Upholding department standards
  • Taking full responsibility for the kitchen in Head chefs absence
  • Controlling energy costs to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Ensuring all equipment is put away after use
  • Carrying out all duties as directed by Head Chef
  • To Ensure Health & Safety procedures are adhered to at all times
