We have an exciting role working as part of the Finance Support team to assist the business units with day to day financial requirements working 09.00-17:00 Monday through Friday.Salary Dependant on experience 

The candidate will be working in a dynamic environment catering for an automotive giant. Situated in our transport office coordinating the planning of material from UK production plants to European destinations, providing customer support with delivery queries and ensuring quality requirements are met for a number of crucial KPI parameters.

Role responsibilities:

  • Assist in the day to day running of a European transport contract
  • Raise purchase orders for hauliers
  • Oversee any invoice queries 
  • Must be commercially aware and be able to work with numbers
  • Assist in collating monthly costs, contract is open book so needs to be able to work quickly and to a fine level of detail 


Role Requirements:

  • we are looking for a candidate that has been involved in the transport industry 
  • you will need a moderate level of knowledge for Microsoft packages (excel,word)
  • previous knowledge of transport systems and driving laws is also desired although this can be trained over a period of time
  • A solid geographical knowledge of Europe is highly recommended and a second language is also highly advantageous to the role (PL/DE/FR/RO).
