Blue Arrow are now recruiting for a Luxury Hotel Property and are searching for an experienced assistant Restaurant Manager to join a thriving well established business.

 

Main purpose of the role

To provide a consistently high level of guest care within the department.  To support the Food and Beverage Operations Manager and Restaurant Manager in the smooth running of the Food and Beverage department.

Duties

Anticipate guest's needs, wherever possible, in order to deliver exceptional quality of service and, in turn, guest satisfaction

To provide support to the F&B Operations Manager and Restaurant Manager in the smooth running of the daily operation.

To deputise for the Restaurant Manager in his/her absence, which includes the line management of all F&B staff.

To assist the Restaurant Manager in the Bar/cellar management including ordering and stock take of wine and spirits.

To support the F&B Operations Manager/Restaurant Manager with the stock take of cutlery, china and glassware.

To provide assistance to the F&B Operations Manager/Restaurant Manager in managing functions and events held within the hotel, working in collaboration with the events manager.

Line Management of staff.

Promote a helpful and professional image within the department, ensuring full co-operation and communication is given to colleagues in all departments.

To ensure you implement and comply with the Company and Hotel audit and accounting requirements.

To be fully conversant with the company policies and procedures.

Maximise all sales opportunities.

To follow the Company and Hotel policy relating to guest comments and complaints.

To comply with Company and all statutory requirements relating to procedures and policies.

To attend any training and departmental meetings, as required.
