Assembly Line Operatives Needed
Blue Arrow Burton is working in partnership with their sister company Guidant Group, to search for several motivated individuals to join our team at JCB in Uttoxeter, Rocester or Cheadle. All three sites offer a range of pay rates, including overtime and weekend rates.
Shifts are rotational, so candidates must be flexible in their ability to work days and nights, depending on the week. Own transport is required (no public transport to the site). Full training is provided.
The job role involves using your hands and air tools to put together construction equipment and vehicles. Candidates should be target-driven, hardworking and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
PAY RATES
£11.35 p/h - Standard
£15.10 p/h - Nights
£17.03 p/h - Overtime (After 39 hours)
£17.03 p/h - Saturday
£22.70 p/h - Sunday
DAY SHIFTS
Monday to Thursday: 0600-1630
Friday: 0600-1200
NIGHT SHIFTS
Monday to Thursday: 1800-0530

Who is the ideal candidate?
* Own transport
* Eye for detail and high level of accuracy
* Previous assembly or mechanical experience (although full training is provided!)
* Good timekeeping
* High attendance rate
If chosen, you must attend 3 different assessment days (may not be consecutive), consisting of:
- Basic Maths and English Assessment
- Interview
- Practical Skills Evaluation
- Medical Examination (this includes a drugs and alcohol test)
- Induction
