The Digital Delivery Manager has responsibility for leading and delivering on individual projects across the Digital Strategy while working with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure that milestones within the project plan are met. The post holder will work in conjunction with the Head of Digital Delivery, IM&T leadership team, clinical leads and provider organisations.
The postholder will be part of a team that supports and influences the development and delivery of the Trust Digital Strategy to create an instinctively and systemically digital Trust. The strategy is comprised of multiple projects across four key themes:
- Empowered Service Users and Carers
- Digitally enabled workforce
- Partnerships and systems leadership
- Digitally enabled care delivery
The post holder will use recognised project management tools and techniques such as Prince 2, Lean and Agile. An understanding of Continuous Quality Improvement methodology will also be used in order to align to the Trust CQI methodology. The candidate will use these tools to ensure that project milestones are delivered on time and to budget with expected outcomes monitored and achieved. The use of detailed project implementation plans and other associated project governance, workstream reports, risks and issue logs will be required to aide this.
The post holder will be involved in the setup, data collection and analysis of the project outcomes, ensuring CQI principles and practice are implemented and that electronic recording systems are in place to capture and report required data. Project status reports will be presented at the Digital Innovation Board.
The post holder may be expected to deliver additional projects to support the department and carry out any other duties commensurate with the grade which may be required to enable effective and efficient running of the department.
