Blue Arrow Derby are proud to be working in partnership with UK's leading manufacturers of boilers, heat pumps & heating systems and they are looking to recruit an Operations Manager to join their expanding team on a full-time permanent basis.
About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operational Manager to manage a team of administrative support advisors and National sales agents working to ensure alignment of goals and objectives whilst building close inter-departmental relationships and understanding customer requirements in a wider business context including sales team management along with admin and field service support.
Hours: 39.5 hours a week: Mon - Fri
Salary: £30,500 + £1500 Annual Bonus
Duties will include:

  • Coordinate and manage your team allocating tasks and resources as needed.
  • Lead development and day to day management of your team to achieve business goals.
  • Coach and develop team members to achieve personal and business targets.
  • Work towards maximising efficiency and developing business processes.
  • Analyse team performance and report KPI'S to senior management.
  • Responsible for maintaining efficiency and compliance in administrative support both internal and external to the business.
  • Ensure sales targets are achieved on a monthly and annual basis and developing new working methods to enhance team performance.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to both Internal and external customers through implementing best practice and being an ambassador for our cooperate vision and values.

About you

  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent standard.
  • Previous experience in Operational team management with a proven track record of motivating and leading a team to achieve sales targets, objectives and KPI's.
  • Highly analytical with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on own initiative with a pro-active approach.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage individual performance.
  • Excellent IT knowledge, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Flexibility to work within fluctuating business needs and meet tight deadlines.
  • Be prepared to challenge the 'status quo' and influence directional chang
