** Assembly Operatives - Rotational
BELPER AREA **
Blue Arrow is proud to work in partnership with our client - a world-class leader in manufacturing water heating systems based in Belper.
We are looking for experienced Assembly/ Production Operatives to join our current production team with genuine temp to perm perspectives due to new production lines going live in the very near future.
** Details **
Monday to Friday
*06:00 - 14:30 (Early finish of noon on Friday) - £11.26 per hour
*4:30 - 23:00 (Early finish of 6pm on a Friday) - £12.83 per hour
Monday to Thursday & Sunday
*23:00 - 06:00 (Monday to Thursday - £13.65 per hour
*20:30 - 06:00 (Sunday) - £13.65 per hour
*PAY RATES INCREASE WITH LENGTH OF SERVICE*
*Overtime at higher rate depending on shift times*
** Main Duties/Responsibilities **
* Set up and use machinery, as well as working with hand tools
* Working on an assembly line, putting goods together in a factory environment
* Completing tasks in a specific section of an assembly line, whilst meeting 90s-time targets
* Report any issues with machinery or goods on the assembly line
* Working safely at all times and making sure you meet health and safety requirements
* As you gain more experience and responsibility, you may be required to train or mentor new members of staff or run specific sections
*MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORT TO GET TO BELPER if not local due to shift start/ finish time. Public transport is not available *
** Ideal Candidate**
* The ability to maintain concentration and focus on highly repetitive tasks/workload
* Good communication skills and work well within a team
* A strong eye for detail, this is to be able to perform a task consistently, and notice any mistakes that the individual, the machine, or colleagues make
* Able to consistently learn and implement quality assurance
* Able to ask for help and follow procedures safely
* Able to listen carefully to instructions and carrying them out specifically and in the correct order
* A high level of dexterity and be good with your hands
* Self-motivated and driven by targets
* Reliable and punctual for every shift
* Able to take a methodical approach and learn on the job
* Has experience of working in a factory or warehouse and/or stacking shelves and organising stock in a retail role (skills that are relevant to an Assembly Operative role)
