Blue Arrow Derby is proud to be working in partnership with a luxurious and picturesque Golf and Country club, home to an 18-hole, stunning golf course and a popular wedding venue based in Amber Valley.
About The Role
My client are recruiting for a General Manager to join the team, due to expansion with plans to host more weddings and events looking to be planned over the next 6 months.
Hours: 5 out of 7 shifts weekly including some weekend work.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000.
Duties will include:

  • Supporting the Head Chef to develop and refresh the existing menu.
  • Assisting with the planning of events.
  • Leading and developing Team Members to deliver exceptional customer service to members and all guests across the venue.
  • Working closely with teams such as Sales and Marketing to develop the strategy to retain, and gain new memberships and event bookings.
  • Ensure the grounds and the facilities are well maintained at all times.

About you:

  • Proven experience in a similar role with knowledge of events and hospitality ideally in a golf club setting.
  • Experience of leading and inspiring a team of 15-20 staff
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Experience of working within a banqueting restaurant setting.
  • Hard working, reliable and willing to learn.
  • Flexible
