Are you looking for work and keen to help the environment? We are looking for strong, capable and hard working candidates to aide our leading supermarket in their recycling centre based in Rainham, Essex. There are both day and night shifts available.
This is a guaranteed 4 on and 4 off rota working 12 hour shifts, working 6.30am to 5.30pm or 6.30pm to 5.30am (with an hour break). Please note this is a extremely physical, labour intensive role where you will be on your feet most of the days and moving heavy trolleys/ pallets around. This recycling centre, is looking for hands on recycling operative to help unload the lorry's of trolleys and pallets, unload the items to be recycled (either food waste, cardboard or plastic), clean off the pallets and lock the trolleys back up to be put back into the lorry empty to then go to distribution for loading again.
You must wear all black on site, with safety shoes or boots, black cargo trouser or smart trousers and then a black plain polo or tshirt with a hi-vis. Our client has a great team on site, should you work well there is potential for a contract after 12 weeks.
You get paid weekly with us, every Friday. You will be paid at £9.80 per hour on day shift and £12.84 per hour on nights. Should you be interested in this role, we will need to get you registered and interview with us and then should you be successful - you will then get out forward for the induction.
