Hourly Rate: £13.07 (matching annual salary)
Location: Basingstoke RG21 4EA - hybrid working (2/3 days in office, operated on a rota basis)
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm/9am-5pm (one week of each, rotated)
Contract length: 3 months, potential for extension or can apply for 12 month FTC
Fleet Planning and Booking Assistant
This is a customer facing role, dealing with people via telephone and email
Supporting in booking on-road training with access to a pool of trainers across the UK
Training is on-road training for customers who drive on company business - could be supermarket customers ie. drivers training in home delivery vans or company car drivers
Making sure their drivers are competent in driving the company vehicle
In some cases, could be booking car hire, flights, hotels etc.
Someone with proven track record in customer service
Will be dealing with really big customers who's contracts are worth a lot of money so they need someone passionate about providing good customer service
Needs to be really good at creating conversations and rapport with people on the phone
Really high attention to detail, confident in using a PC
Very busy role and likely to be interruptions in what they are doing - has to be able to keep track of where they are on things to jump in out of tasks
Will not be dealing with any complaints as these are passed to a different team
Face to face would be preferrable - Teams is an option for the right candidate
Interviews will be held with two managers
1 stage interview process ideally, but could be a two stage process if the business is presented with a few strong candidates.
