General Kitchen Assistant - Peterborough

Role - General Kitchen Assistant
Location - Bretton, Peterborough
Shifts available - Monday - Friday - 7am - 3pm
Pay - £9.50 per hour
Availability - Immediate start
Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for a temporary General Kitchen Assistant for our client based in Bretton, Peterborough.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
- Supporting/Assisting the catering/kitchen team as needed
- Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients
- Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking foodstuffs and helping to prepare salads and desserts
- Cleaning the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas
A successful applicant will require;
- Food Safety Hygiene Level 1 - Training can be provided
- Ability to commute to Bretton, Peterborough
- Ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work
- Good communication
