Customer Delivery Porter - Drivers Mate
- Helping load and unload the vehicle at the start and end of each shift
- Lifting of goods using sack barrows and two persons lifts with the driver. The role is mostly deliveries of large and heavy items such as white goods and furniture.
- Using phones to contact customers, contact centres, the office and other delivery crews.
- Using a handheld terminal to record the status of deliveries.
- Providing directions to the driver.
- Managing goods and waste in the back of the delivery vehicle.
- Individually performing one person deliveries.
Shift Pattern:
AM - 0600 - 1730
PM - 1100 - 2130
Average of 3 shifts a week, more or less as required
