CNC Machinist

We're happy to be recruiting on behalf of our client based in Gateshead who are looking for x2 CNC Millers.
This is on a permanent basis starting asap.
37.5 hours per week working Monday to Thursday with rotational days and nights. 2 weeks day shift and 2 weeks night shift.
Pay rate is £14.35 per hour
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
* To set operate and program allocated machines, to produce manufactured parts to the drawing specification in the most efficient way possible
* Participation in training in lean manufacturing techniques.
* To satisfy internal quality standards and procedures in relation to part supply
* To achieve personal and team targets in relation to utilization and efficiency
* The feedback of information to the Team Leader in the interests of value engineering and quality.
* To work to and adhere to the companies safe working procedures and practices.
* Ensure that housekeeping within relevant areas is to a level practical to maintain a satisfactory turn round of work, and does not impact upon the requirements of Health and Safety.
* Adhere to and assist in the implementation of current and future the companies working procedures and practices.
* Carry out any duties requested by the Team Leader that are within capabilities.
