The role:
You will be working for a leading furniture manufacturer They are looking for team players to join their successful workforce.

Key information:

  • 39 Hour week; 7am to 4pm Monday to Thursday with 30mins for lunch, 7am to 12pm Fridays.
  • 22 days holidays a year, plus bank holidays Work is 5 days a week

Role Overview:

  • Programming, Setting and sometimes running our CNC machines using models imported from Solidworks software.
  • Specify and order tooling for bespoke projects
  • To liaise with the Mill Manager, assisting with potential quality and general machining issues through production
  • Interpreting design ideas and preparing programs and documents from models for manufacture, including all critical dimensions, tolerances, finishes and notes to operators
  • Ensure all customer orders are manufactured to the production due dates and all dates are met and products are manufactured to the correct quality standards.
  • Manage production of large projects with multiple designs

Skills required:

  • The successful applicant will have a proven track record in a similar role, working on high end, projects within a manufacturing environment.
  • Be a highly experienced 5axis CNC router operator and programmer with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • Be highly experienced with Programming using Alphacam Ultimate.
  • Use the Alphacam portal to overcome any issue with the software or post processors.
  • Experience with working with timber and sheet materials
  • Solidworks experience would be beneficial, but inhouse training would be given.
  • Working closely with the Design team on prototype work and on complicated projects.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Possess a willingness to learn and undertake new challenges.
