Blue Arrow Derby is proud to be working in partnership with a leading legal and professional service client, who due to expansion are looking to recruit for a Customer Service Administrator (Rectification Department) to join their team on a full-time basis.
About The Role
To monitor and progress 'At risk' matters to ensure the desired outcome is reached. This role requires exceptional organisation skills to ensure each case is handled from start to finish with impeccable communication with both internal and external stakeholders. Each matter requires clear and comprehensive file notes, which could be called upon by Insurers or regulatory bodies. The majority cases are extremely time sensitive and therefore this role requires a high level of independent working and diary management.
Hours: (Mon - Fri) 08:30 -17:00 or 09:00 -17:30 - 37.5 hour per week
Salary: £18,500 - £25,000
Duties will include:
You will be the first point of contact of any rectification matters and will be required to report all matters to the Customer Service Supervisor and Customer Service Manager, whilst also keeping an up-to-date log of all active matters.
The tasks and duties listed below are intended to describe the general nature and responsibilities of this role. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list and the post holder is expected to undertake any reasonable request made from a Partner, Manager, Team Leader, or other appropriate Manager.

  • To log and report all matters raised to the Rectification Team, within set timescales
  • Investigate and progress post-completion issues including shortfalls, Title Check errors and banking errors
  • Working with the CS Supervisor and CS Manager to monitor and pursue urgent outstanding items including rectification, insurance, complaint and post-completion matters
  • To liaise and meet with Management to provide periodic updates on 'At risk' matters
  • Maintain clear and up to date records of all referred matters on a centralised database
  • Liaise daily with other teams within the department to report errors and identify training gaps
  • To contact external stakeholders to chase outstanding documents and funds
  • To assist the overall customer service unit where necessary in order meet business needs

About you:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong commitment to Client care and delivering a first-class service
  • A strong interest in analysing data
  • Ability to deliver constructive and positive feedback in an articulate manner whilst maintaining strong relationships on the team
  • IT Literate specifically use of Excel
  • Experience of working in Conveyancing, specifically post-completion matters and rectification of Land Registry and Title issues
  • Knowledge of Land Registry processes
  • Experience of working in a Compliance setting
  • Knowledge of the legal re-mortgage process
  • Experience working in a volume environment

Our client is based in Leeds City Centre, so if you have access to your own car and live in surrounding areas, great! This site is also easily commutable via public transport - bus stops and train station are a 5-minute walk from the site. Please note there in no on-site parking available, but ample city centre car parks nearby.
