£10.38 per hour PAYE
10.30-14.30 - Mon-Fri
Temporary Role - 3 months, possible permanent placement thereafter

JOB PURPOSE
To carry out a daily wellbeing check of the meals clients within their own homes, responding to any given situation which places the client at risk, whilst delivering the meals service contractual obligations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* To carry out the daily vehicle road safety check and record all findings on the vehicle defect sheet, ensuring the vehicle meets all Bristol City Council obligations
* To check and collect all frozen meals from main stores ensuring 100% accuracy, to load meals in order of delivery list, to start the vehicle cooking procedures ensuring the first oven meals are ready for delivery on time, to deliver meals within the approved delivery service window.
* To check and collect all tea meals in accordance with client's requirements, ensuring that all additional services i.e., groceries packs, frozen meals, milk, and food related produce are accounted for.
* To deliver all meals to the client's home ensuring all food safety obligations / temperature control evidence is completed in accordance with the meals Food Safety Management Program.
* To carry out a wellbeing check with clients when delivering meals

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
* Hold a Full UK Driving Licence
* Have experience in working within a care service setting and able to provide evidence of a helping and caring attitude / nature
* Have knowledge and experience of working in a customer service environment
* Able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety procedures, such as manual handling
* Have a working knowledge of Microsoft office applications or equivalent including the following devices such as handheld delivery devises "tablet and mobile phone"
