We have an exciting new position for a Transport logistics Administrator for a busy global logistics company in Aylesford ME20.
The right candidate will need to be well organised, be able to pick up new systems and have a previous experience in a logistics admin role.
You'll oversee the smooth running of the Transport Services, provide comprehensive and efficient administrative support to the onsite Management and Operations team, as well as provide communication with other internal and external teams. This is a temp role with the aim for the right candidate to become permanent after a trial period.
What you'll do on a typical day:
* Liaising with 3rd party client to arrange collection and replacement of containers when full- preparing labels for pallets
* Checking the web portal throughout the day for new orders/jobs,
* Liaising with manager/team leader in the warehouse to make sure they are on track with picking in time for orders to be ready for collection
For the right candidate the client is happy to train them on pallet trucks / loading skills in order for them to go into the warehouse and lend a hand when they are behind, need to be practical, have common sense, good communication and customer service skills as involves phone work with the customer and 3rd parties.
08:30-4/5pm, M-F, £10.50ph, overtime available in the warehouse on other contracts at weekends if desired
