Class 2 Driver

At Blue Arrow we are looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers dayshift drivers on a temporary basis for client sickness, covid and holiday cover.
Opportunities for ongoing work are available for the right candidates as we get closer to busier periods.
Pay rates are as follows:
Dayshift - £11.50ph
Nightshift - £13.25ph
We have clients based in the following locations:
* North Tyneside
* Gateshead
* South Tyneside
* Durham
* County Durham/Teesside
Start times vary from client to client but are between 05:00 - 08:00AM.
Work includes local pallet deliveries, trunking work night work depending on each client's requirements.
Majority of assignments are Monday - Friday work with limited/no weekends.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
As a LGV Category C Driver you will:
* Complete pre departure vehicle checks
* Transport goods between planned sites and drops
* Complete paperwork and follow compliance
* Adhere to tachograph and working times rules
Qualifications
In order to process your application, you must have the following:
* HGV Class 2 entitlement
* CPC
* Digi tacho card
We cannot accept more than 6 points or DR on a licence.
